Lots of government roles, of course - financial admin/management, programs audit, legislative analysis. Other fields are journalism, consulting, economics research, nonprofit advocacy and/or services, higher education admininstration. There are even more. It's up to you to figure out what you want to do with it. You should ask yourself WHY you would want the MPA, that might lead you to logical job considerations.

International Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Policy and Management

International Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Policy and Management?
Hello , I am about to get into grad school , the thing is that i am not sure with which major it'd be easier to find jobs after graduating. I am an international student and i am looking to work in the US and later moving back to Europe. I have to choose between any of these three majors and i'm extremely confused : International Master of Business Administration ; Master of Public Policy and Management; or Master of education in Counseling and Guidance. I was a Political Science major in undergrad and it has been extremely hard to find a job in that area especially since as an international student i can't work for government organizations. I would deeply appreciate your opinions.

To be honest with you it is close to impossible to get sponsorship for a corporate job in the US with the masters programs that you listed. The US work visa application and green card require that you have some special skill that can be quantified. Example of that would be technical skills. The exception to that is if you an expert in a particular field. Another exception would be finding a job with educational institutions which have slightly different regulations. I hope this helps you in making your decision.

What kind of jobs can I get with a Bachelor's AND Master's degree in Public Administration

What kind of jobs can I get with a Bachelor's AND Master's degree in Public Administration?
I already have a B.S. in Information Tech, but I'm thinking of going back to school and going for my B.S. and M.P.A. in Public Administration. What kind of jobs can I get with those degrees? And how much can I start making?

Public administration degrees are useful for would-be government employees, policymakers, or anyone who wants to work in/run an organization that serves a societal need (as opposed to a for-profit business). It'd be silly to go back for a BS, though; as long as you had decent undergraduate grades, have good GRE scores, and have work experience in the public sector or a decent idea of how you can use the skills you've picked up in whatever field you were in before, you don't need formal training to apply for masters' programs. And you really don't want to waste the money: nonprofit jobs tend to be stable and offer great benefits, but you do earn less than private sector employees.
